The Mat-Su Master Gardeners Association is a non-profit organization which enhances
and supplements the University of Alaska Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program,
assumes responsibility of performing special tasks and engaging in continuous activities
related to the Program, and promotes dissemination of gardening information available
as a result of University study and experimentation to Alaska citizens.
Membership shall be open to any person or organization interested in the objectives
of the association. Regular members shall consist of those that possess Master Gardener
Certification and have paid their regular annual membership dues. Non-voting members
shall be those that do not possess Master Gardener Certification but have paid annual

It is not nessecary to be a Master Gardener to join, just enjoy gardening. Membership

During the summer, meetings consist of a short business agenda followed by garden
tours with guest speakers and tour guides who enlighten us about gardening issues.
During the winter the Association meets in the MTA conference room in Palmer.
